If you have lots of dinosaurs lying around your house then you could try making Fizzy Dino Tracks as well. The colors are exciting to watch and the fizziness never gets old. Plan to do this activity again and again and again. Then put the toys back down in the baking soda, grab some more vinegar, and start the activity over again. Count the footprints, talk about their size/shape, and talk about the colors and textures you see. Once the fizziness stops, carefully pick up each of your animals and talk about the footprints that they left. The vinegar will fizz once it touches the baking soda! (It is fun to survey your kids ahead of time to ask what they think will happen when you drop the vinegar on the feet). Use the dropper and squeeze colored vinegar onto the feet of each of the toys.
